About Lewisham FindYourHome

Lewisham FindYourHome is Lewisham's social housing lettings scheme that allows you to choose the property you would like to live in, which is made up of Lewisham Council and all the main social housing providers in the borough. Properties are advertised Thursday to Sunday each week.

Bidding

You must join the housing register and have a live application to place bids for advertised homes. Please ensure that your local housing office or social housing provider has an up to date telephone number so that you can be contacted easily.  If the landlord cannot contact you or you can’t view the property, we may offer the property to the next person on the list.

Auto-bidding

Most people will need to engage with the bidding process manually, checking the website weekly and bidding for suitable properties. However, you may also have bids placed on your behalf automatically if there are properties that meet your bedroom needs and any assessed medical property recommendations. It is important to keep your account information on FindYourHome account up to date to make sure that any bids reflect your current needs and circumstances.

We will let you know if we enable the auto-bidding option on your account. If you would like the system to bid automatically for you, please let us know by emailing LewishamFindYourHomeApplications@lewisham.gov.uk or calling 0808 178 0939.

Social Housing Tenants

If you are a tenant of Clarion, Hexagon, Housing for Women, Hyde, London & Quadrant, Notting Hill Genesis, Peabody, Phoenix, Regenter B3, Southern Housing or Wandle, you MUST contact them regarding your housing register application and any change in your circumstances and not Lewisham Council.

Register for housing with Lewisham Council

If you haven't already registered with Lewisham Council, you will need to do so before you can bid on the properties we advertise. To find out if you are eligible, click the 'Register Now' button below to get started and find out what housing options are best for you. Remember the password you choose on the online form, as this will later be used to log back in to this website.

If you are registered with Lewisham FindYourHome please click 'Already registered without a password' and complete the on screen prompts to generate your login details for the Housing Options website.
